Rihanna Posts Photo Proof Her Baby Boy Is More Stylish Than Everyone
Rihanna has been in Paris with her family this week, and in addition to giving paparazzi a look at her own excellent maternity style, she let Instagram know her son is also a fashion icon in the making. Rihanna shared a photo of her baby boy, who will turn one next month, dressed up in a Fendi jacket yesterday evening on her Instagram. “Trouble,” it read. The singer added no caption to the photo. Her baby wore the look to dinner in Paris on Wednesday.
This isn’t Rihanna’s first time sharing photos of her and A$AP Rocky’s son publicly. She last shared a photo series of him at Easter.
While the couple has not revealed their son’s name publicly, they have spoken about their lives as parents. Keeping certain details (understandably) private is just Rihanna’s style; she is currently expecting her and Rocky’s second child but has not revealed her due date or the baby’s sex publicly.
Still, she spoke openly to British Vogue in an interview published in February about her firstborn son and how she’s dressing him. “One of my favorite outfits he has is a miniature version of one of Rocky’s,” Rihanna said. “I like to dress him in things that don’t look like baby clothes. I like to push it. I put him in floral stuff. I put him in hot pink. I love that. I think that fluidity in fashion is best. I always shop in the men’s department, you know.”
She added she often gets his clothes made: “When you come up with something in your head, half the time it is not available because kids’ clothes are so, they’re sooo boring. I’m like, ‘This is what y’all been doing to these people’s kids all along?’”
She said that, given this state of affairs, she might do a line of Fenty kids clothes someday: “I feel like the kids need it. Let’s get these kids cool. These kids deserve to be cool.”
