Travis Kelce still has a little over a week before the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp begins on July 29. While he and Taylor Swift have enjoyed time together following their July 3 wedding, the couple has not been seen on a big honeymoon. Instead, Kelce is getting back to work—and Swift has flown almost completely under the radar.
Immediately after their New York City nuptials, Swift and Kelce had a small family trip. They went to Montana, according to Entertainment Tonight and People. A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Taylor and Travis headed to Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, after their wedding for a few days of relaxing.”
People reported that Swift was spotted with Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, and sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, in the state. The newlyweds then traveled to California for JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding on July 10, which they were photographed attending. Swift wore a Markarian dress.
Smith-Schuster used to play for the Kansas City Chiefs with Kelce, and he and Kruk attended Kelce and Swift’s wedding in New York City. (Kruk notably made headlines for wearing the same Sau Lee dress as Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard.)
From there, Kelce traveled to Palm Beach, Florida. He was seen arriving on July 12 with a white Samoyed dog rumored to be his and Swift’s pet. Swift was not spotted with him.
Yesterday, Kelce was photographed training for his upcoming football season in Florida. (He also trained there last year.)
The couple hasn’t spoken about their wedding or honeymoon plans, though on July 7, a source close to them gave People a little insight about what they were up to ahead of training camp. “They’re really excited to enjoy a few weeks of newlywed life before football season gets going again,” the insider said.
It’s unclear whether Swift and Kelce will squeeze a private trip in before July 29, but the couple has taken multiple secret vacations together before. Previous trips where photos later came out include one to the Bahamas, another to Italy, and a winter Montana getaway.
Swift is very adept at getting in and out of places without being seen, calling it her best spy skill in an October BBC Radio 2 interview.
“Just put me in a garbage can, roll me, I don’t care,” she said. “Honestly, I can fit in like, a purse. Sometimes I just can’t deal with it [the paparazzi and attention] and in those times, I won’t deal with it. I’m just digging tunnels under every building I go into, airlifting in through the skylight.”
