Alix Earle Chose an ‘Unexpected’ Look for Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 Show
If you have a TikTok, or if you’ve been in close vicinity of anyone else’s TikTok in the last two days, you probably know that Alix Earle is at Paris Fashion Week. The social media savant has been documenting every step of her trip, from packing 30 minutes before she left for her flight to putting on her outfit for today’s Miu Miu show, one of the last runways of all of fashion month. Earle starts the latter video with her glam done, but behind the scenes, she tells ELLE.com, she spent the morning sleeping “until the latest time possible,” five minutes before her hair-and-makeup team arrived. (“I especially love when I get my hair and makeup done by artists, because I can close my eyes and sleep, especially when I’m jet-lagged,” she says.) Next steps: “Order a coffee, and jump into the shower.”
Earle’s look for the star-studded show—yes, some celebs even popped up on the runway—featured a satin, ivory collared Miu Miu dress and strappy, black pointed heels. “I love that the dress looks chic and elegant from afar, but when you look closely, there are intentional creases and wrinkles,” she notes. “I like the duality of the different aesthetics, and bonus is, I don’t have to worry about steaming my dress.” She opted for a tousled updo and natural, glowy makeup, pairing it all with black Miu Miu sunglasses and short black gloves. “The gloves made the look so much cooler! I wish I could do this all of the time in Miami.”
As for after the show, Earle hoped to indulge in her favorite French activity: “I eat escargot for practically every meal while I’m in Paris.” Plus, she planned to squeeze in a nap and go on a hunt for a new Sonny Angel phone accessory. For the uninitiated, Earle explains, “When you buy them you don’t even know which one you are going to get until you unbox them. We are low-key kind of obsessed, and I have absolutely no clue why.”
You’ll have to check her feeds to see if she reveals her spoils, but until then, get a closer look at how she got ready for the Miu Miu show, below.
