Shortly after debuting As Ever’s collaboration with High Camp Supply, Meghan Markle made a rare red carpet appearance at the Alliance for Children’s Rights’ 34th Annual Champions for Children event last night. Meghan went for a minimalist look, pairing a navy silk cady Ralph Lauren gown with gold accessories, including vintage Chanel button earrings and a Cartier Love bracelet. As Women’s Wear Daily pointed out, Meghan incorporated a subtle nod to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, wearing the gold Cartier Tank Française watch that Diana had owned.
Earlier this week, Meghan shared a special glimpse of her shoot for As Ever’s new launch, which included appearances from her children Archie and Lilibet. Lili and Meghan matched in white outfits.
In November, Meghan gave Harper’s Bazaar a rare insight into her family life. She reflected on parenting, saying, “I’m a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day. But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.’”
She also spoke adoringly about her marriage to Prince Harry. “He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t,” she said. “No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.”
Her husband is “someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness,” she shared. “I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That’s translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative.”
