Milly Alcock keeps her personal life low-key, but she and her boyfriend, Jo Powell, have been posting each other for months.
The pair stepped onto the red carpet together at the 2026 BAFTAs in February. Before that, they slowly introduced each other on Instagram throughout 2025, sharing travel moments, photo booth strips, and date nights. Neither has addressed their romance in interviews, opting to keep the details on their own social media feeds.
Here’s everything to know about Powell and his connection to Alcock.
They made a red carpet appearance at the 2026 BAFTAs.
On February 22, Alcock and Powell attended the BAFTAs in London together. They arrived in coordinated suiting and posed side by side on the carpet.
They went Instagram official in summer 2025 and have regularly shared photos from their travels together.
Alcock first publicly tagged Powell in June 2025. In a post from June 11, she included a photo of their shoes, tagging him in it, followed by another shot of him smiling and eating. “Each of these images has been a religious experience (apart from the ones of myself hehe),” she wrote in the caption.
In July 2025, she posted a carousel captioned simply, “❤️❤️❤️,” which also included photos of Powell.
The following month, she wrote on another post, “Practicing the art of hanging out. Ft @_jopowell,” making the relationship explicit in the caption itself.
Powell also began sharing Alcock on his own Instagram that summer. In June 2025, he posted travel photos from Lisbon with the caption, “Thank you Lisbon for tasting so great.”
He also shared images from their trip to Tuscany in July.
In October, he posted, “Me, milly and some cooks by moi. Some of which you can eat @schoolnightsltd @392kingslandroad ‼️,” pairing photos of his food with images of Alcock.
By November, the two were appearing more regularly on each other’s feeds. On November 10, Powell posted a carousel captioned “❤️????????,” which included a selfie of the pair and a photo of Alcock on what appeared to be a date night.
They haven’t shied away from PDA on Instagram.
In December 2025, both shared photobooth strips that included images of them kissing.
On December 1, Alcock posted a carousel captioned, “Comfy sexy cute winter,” which included a photobooth strip of the pair kissing.
Powell posted his own carousel on December 7, captioned “Oooo I ate,” featuring the same photobooth strip and another image of them kissing on a sidewalk. The carousel also included a photo of Alcock trying on a ball gown.
In her December 26 year-end post, Alcock reflected on the year, writing, “2025! ???????????? I know this is lame that I’m doing this but i don’t give a fuck this year has been beyond magical. Thank u to all my friends who made it so special!!! I LOVE U ALL SO MUCH.” The carousel included a photo of Powell wearing a T-shirt that read “I ❤️ my girlfriend.”
Powell runs a food project called Schoolnights and appears to work as a chef.

The venue listed in connection with Schoolnights advertises “Food – From Schoolnights” on its website and outlines dinner service hours Wednesday through Saturday. The space describes itself as “primarily a walk-in bar” that holds “a few spots for dinner reservations.”
Powell’s Instagram features extensive cooking content, including plated dishes and menu previews. On Aug. 26, 2024, he wrote, “My last month with @392kingslandroad —-> you’ve got until the 7th to come taste the final menu ????.”
More recently, on Jan. 9, 2026, the Schoolnights account posted a photo of Powell holding a menu alongside the caption, “APPY NEW YEAR ???? kicking the year off with a fresh new menu.”
They continued posting each other in 2026.
On Jan. 4, 2026, Powell captioned a carousel, “2026 is the year of doing cute shit,” which included photos of Alcock.
On January 29, he posted another, captioned “Country bumpin,” featuring an image of himself followed by one of Alcock.
Alcock also shared Powell on her own grid in early 2026. On February 8, she posted a carousel from Milan captioned, “It’s Milano, it’s your vibe,” which included multiple photos of Powell, including one of him at a restaurant and another holding a glass of wine.
Days later, on February 12, Powell posted his own Milan carousel and wrote, “Cheers to me for getting u x,” leading with a photo of Alcock holding a wine glass.
On April 24, Alcock shared a carousel from Kyoto captioned, “Kyoto! ????????” The post included a smiling photo of Powell during their trip.
The couple celebrated Alcock’s Supergirl premiere together.
On June 23, 2026, Alcock shared photos from the Supergirl premiere on Instagram. The carousel opened with two black-and-white photos of the couple together. Alcock wore a strapless black dress styled with long opera gloves, while Powell opted for a suit with a white shirt and striped tie. She captioned the post, “Supergirl premier ❤️!!!! SuperGirl lands in theatres on June 25th ???? Get your tickets now ????”
The following day, Powell shared two of the same photos on his own Instagram, writing, “proud doesn’t cut it. so happy I get a front row seat to watch you do your thing baby ❤️” Alcock replied in the comments, “????❤️????.”
