Zendaya’s Dress for the Dune: Part Two Premiere Has the Most Daring Cut-Outs Ever

The Dune: Part Two press tour has made its way to New York City, and Zendaya pulled out yet another show-stopping look that turned heads, even in the fashion capital. Styled by Law Roach for the premiere, Zendaya wore a stunning dress from Stéphane Rolland’s spring/summer 2024 couture collection.

The futuristic white long-sleeve gown had daring cut-outs going down her midriff, across her hips, and down her thighs. At the hem of the dress were layers of gold embellishments in different shapes and sizes. Zendaya had a fresh set of long nails painted a metallic gold to match, and she stacked chunky icy diamond rings on her fingers.

Her hair was left down in big, natural curls that reached her waist, and her makeup consisted of a sunset-colored eye look and a glossy nude lip.

On the red carpet, Zendaya posed alongside her co-star Austin Butler, who joined the Dune cast for the sequel. He wore a sharp white jacket with black pants, adding a skinny black tie.

Of course, the rest of the cast was there too, including Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who was recently confirmed to join the squad. After the red carpet and screening, the cast went uptown for the afterparty in the Gilder Center at the American Museum of Natural history, complete with tunes, bites, and Casamigos drinks.

In “The Puppy Interview” with Buzzfeed on February 23, Zendaya admitted that at times she questioned if she was actually “good enough” to be in the Dune series.

“It’s such a special experience, I think, being able to shoot in the places that we got to shoot and be with the incredible actors that we got to be with. So every day I just felt so lucky,” she said while holding four tiny puppies in her lap. “I’m just very nervous I think, too. Because all these heavy-hitters, and you want to be, like, good, and no matter what you always kind of have imposter syndrome a little bit. You always feel like you’re just…like, ‘am I even good enough to be here?’ So, trying to also just enjoy it, too.”

Spoiler alert: Zendaya is definitely good enough.
