Why Reese Witherspoon, Rita Wilson and Others Are Bombarding Nicole Kidman’s Instagram
Awards season is kicking off with celebrities bringing their A-game to high profile Hollywood events. While Nicole Kidman isn’t nominated at the 2023 Golden Globes, folks may be wondering whether she’ll attend and what she may wear. Luckily, we have an idea about her taste in fashion, which is high risk with a high reward.
In an Instagram post from late December, the Being the Ricardos actress stunned her followers when she posted an outfit from “a night out.” Donning a black backless gown, the look featured sparkling beads that were sewn into the lace material. The dress also had thick straps made of the same material. But the cascading ruffles framing the low back truly made the ensemble standout.
Although Nicole didn’t give everyone a full picture of her show-stopping number, she did give clues as to how she accessorized the intricate piece. The 55-year-old Australian native styled her blonde hair in loose curls that were tied back with a black satin ribbon. As for her makeup, she went with neutral colors to accent the drama of the attire.
Reacting to Nicole’s latest nighttime look, celebrities wasted no time taking to her comments section to share heartfelt messages with her. “Beautiful ❤️,” Reese Witherspoon wrote. “Love it,” 1883 actress Rita Wilson added. “Beauty!!” Carole Bayer Sager chimed in.
Unsurprisingly, when fans caught on to the pictures the Bombshell star posted on social media, they immediately began showering her with compliments.
“Perfect ???????? big time crush forever,” one person wrote on Instagram. “Magnifique!!! @nicolekidman is a goddess, as usual,” another user added. “Your waves in your hair remind me of the design of the back of this dress. ????,” a different follower noted.
Despite the Moulin Rouge! alum not having any projects nominated during this year’s Golden Globes, she is gearing up for a major honor later this year. Nicole will be presented with an American Film Institute (AFI) Lifetime Achievement Award on June 10, making her the first Australian to receive it. But while she waits for that, she’s been busy supporting friends like Elton John at his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.
As for whether she’ll make an appearance at the 2023 Golden Globes, viewers will have to keep an eye out for her. If she does surprise people on the red carpet, she’ll most likely have husband Keith Urban in tow … and possibly her daughters Sunday and Faith. We’re excited either way!
