American Girl’s Most Beloved Prints Are Getting a Hill House Makeover

My poor Josefina. That doll never stood a chance with me. I can’t forget taking her to the American Girl Doll store in New York City to get her rat’s nest of an excuse for hair detangled by the professional doll doctors (what a job). American Girl has come a long way since my heyday, and today, news dropped that the iconic doll brand is collaborating with Hill House Home—just in time for Mother’s Day.

On May 4, the two companies will launch a new collection that reimagines the motifs surrounding a few of American Girl’s most beloved dolls. Prints tied to Felicity, Addy, Kirsten, and Samantha will be transposed onto signature Hill House silhouettes, including its famous Nap dresses. Teaser images show Felicity’s classic floral frocks and Samantha’s quintessential plaid pattern modeled by mother-daughter duos, leaning into the brand’s legacy of nostalgia and storytelling. Naturally, the styles will be available in women’s, children’s, and doll sizes to allow for full-family matching.

The collection comprises 10 customer-favorite pieces like the Ellie Nap Dress, Scarlett Midi Nap, Tiny Athena Nap, and Tiny Paz Nap set. Equal parts sentimental and wearable, the collaboration taps into the enduring appeal of American Girl while bringing Hill House Home’s romantic sensibility to a new generation.

The American Girl x Hill House Home collection will be available to shop at HillHouseHome.com and AmericanGirl.com on May 4.
