This weekend, pop star Lisa from Blackpink went to Tokyo, Japan, for an adorable visit to the viral monkey star, Punch. Punch is a macaque who lives in the Ichikawa City Zoo in the Chiba Prefecture. He went viral online after being rejected by the other monkeys in his enclosure and offered a stuffed orangutan toy for comfort.

Lisa shared pictures of herself looking into Punch’s enclosure and showing off her matching stuffed toy. In the pictures, she’s wearing a gray hoodie with jeans and a white beanie—and a huge smile.

Lisa has recently begun filming a new movie, Tygo, in South Korea. Blackpink also just released their comeback mini album last week of February, so the singer and actress has been busy.

In September 2025, Lisa spoke to AnOther magazine about her role on HBO’s The White Lotus season 3, talking about working with the creator Mike White.

“I had a lot of fun working on that,” she said. “I’d love to do some more acting. It’s a world I’d like to learn more about.”

While on The White Lotus, Lisa said, “there were a lot of memorable moments, starting when I sent in my audition tape.”

“That was funny. It was just me and my team filming in a hotel room,” she explained. “Then I flew to Thailand to meet up with Mike White and we had a great initial conversation. Mike is really open-minded. While we were shooting, he was super-open to me trying out different things. He let Tayme [Thapthimthong], my co-star, and I do whatever we wanted to do, then if he wanted us to fix something, he’d just tell us how. The cast were great. They’re all big stars. It was a great experience to work with them. We had a lot of fun together.”
