Olomu Ward 2 adopts Tinubu, Oborevwori, Dafinone, others

OLOMU — Ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olomu Ward 2, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, have adopted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ede Dafinone, Rt. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive and Dr. Ricciardo Oguma.
The declaration was made by stakeholders including Olorogun John Ewenede, Olorogun Friday Jomone, Olorogun Vincent Otidi, Engr. Isaac Omafuaire, Hon. John Ogbare, Engr. Wisdom Umolo and the APC Olomu Ward 2 Chairman, John Ekpoko.
The stakeholders, while reaffirming their commitment to the APC, said they would mobilise support at the grassroots and work with other party members to strengthen the party’s presence across the ward ahead of the 2027 elections.
They also emphasised the need for unity, effective grassroots mobilisation and continued engagement with residents across communities and polling units.
Speaking during the gathering, Ewenede said the stakeholders were committed to working together to ensure that the ward remained united and actively involved in preparations for the 2027 elections.
Jomone and Otidi also stressed the importance of cooperation among party leaders and supporters, saying sustained grassroots engagement would be critical to the party’s mobilisation efforts.
Omafuaire, Umolo and Ogbare joined other stakeholders in reaffirming their support, while Ekpoko assured members of continued coordination and mobilisation within the ward.
The stakeholders also called on party members and supporters to remain peaceful and united as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections gather momentum.
They said their immediate focus would be on strengthening the party structure at the ward level and ensuring greater participation by members across polling units.
The gathering culminated in the adoption of Tinubu, Oborevwori, Dafinone, Waive and Oguma by the APC stakeholders in Olomu Ward 2 ahead of the 2027 elections.
