When to Watch New Episodes of Project Runway Season 22

Project Runway returns for its 22nd season on July 9, bringing Heidi Klum back as host and judge alongside Nina Garcia and Law Roach. Christian Siriano is once again mentoring this year’s designers, while Tyra Banks will be a recurring judge on the panel after previously appearing as a guest judge.

Season 22 also marks the competition’s biggest cast yet, with 22 designers stepping into the workroom to compete for the title. And according to Klum, the supersized season doesn’t make the challenges any easier.

“If I give them a one-day challenge, it actually is one day,” she recently told Bustle. “They’re literally working from morning to night. What they do in one day, most designers can’t do.”

Siriano added that the judging process remains intentionally impartial.

“They never see any part of the workroom at all, ever. No playback, nothing,” he said. “There’s no preconception. It’s a blind runway. That’s why the judging is very real, which I like.”
