The Best Body Care Tools for Glowing Skin in 2026

These days, body care is experiencing a major boom, growing into a market that could reach more than $20 billion by 2030. Gone are the days when you might slather on lotion after a shower if you remembered. Now, many people have entire body care routines that are just as intense as their face regimens, and part of that includes adding tools to the mix.
These devices run the gamut: wearable health trackers, at-home hair removal, sauna blankets, and more. For this year’s Tools and Treatments Awards, 28 ELLE staff members tried out tons of different body gadgets to find the best of the best. We screwed in red-light showerheads, worked out with tools strapped to our chests, and took mini, high-powered fans everywhere from the subway to Coachella. Below, find the 10 best body care tools of 2026.

Perfect for a swampy summer commute, this fan doubles as a cryotherapy tool to press against your skin and a mister, emitting a cooling water spray. Our tester said that this fan was easy to drop into a pool bag or work tote. She loved the depuffing cryotherapy side, but was an even bigger fan (no pun intended) of the mist, which she compared to a “spritz of morning dew.”
This showerhead filter is the ultimate two-in-one tool—it uses advanced filtration technology to purify water, while dual red and near-infrared wavelengths (650 nm and 850 nm) penetrate your skin. The result is brighter skin and boosted circulation (for both your scalp and body), all during your daily cleansing routine. “My showers feel more indulgent now (almost spa-like) and the red light adds such a calming element,” says our tester. “I also love knowing I’m getting the added benefits of red-light therapy while using a shower filter that’s great for my skin and hair.” She adds that the battery life is impressive—she can typically get eight uses out of one charge.
The flexibility of this multiuse LED panel wins raves from our tester. You can prop it up on a stand or strap it onto any body part. She said, “I’m not so hard core that I would own separate red light tools for my hands, chest, neck, and face, so it was awesome to have single tool that can treat all of those areas.” With blue and red light, it can help reduce inflammation, facilitate skin recovery, and target acne, too.
Our tester loved the only FDA-cleared at-home laser for permanent hair removal. After just a few sessions, she noticed her hair growing back more slowly. She found the pain, even at the highest setting, to be bearable and praised the device’s ease of use. She did note that because of its minimal coverage area, this tool would be best for maintaining laser results or for small areas, such as around the lips, toes, and armpits.

Celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston swear by infrared saunas, touting increased circulation, muscle relief, stress alleviation, and more. This blanket allows you to enjoy the benefits from the comfort of your home. Our tester noted that the blanket was relaxing and helped ease soreness following rigorous workouts. Setup was quick (though she recommends laying down a yoga mat and a towel inside for comfort), and the blanket also folded up nicely for easy storage.
Our testers can attest to the fact that a good showerhead filter can make all the difference. “My skin feels soft after showering,” one said. “I wasn’t aware of how stripped my skin was until I switched to this filter.” This showerhead reduces and neutralizes chlorine, heavy metals, and calcium sulfite in your water to protect the natural oils in your hair and skin and keep them moisturized.
Unlike many sauna blankets, CurrentBody’s allows you to choose from four temperature settings between 86 and 167 degrees. This allows for the most tailored at-home experience possible—choose to sweat profusely or just get a slight sheen. It also comes with a cotton towel insert to help keep the actual blanket sweat-free. Our tester said, “I used the blanket four to five times a week for two weeks at a medium-to-high heat setting, with sessions lasting around 35 minutes. Because it heated up gradually, I didn’t really ever get the anxious feeling I sometimes get in saunas. I found the whole ritual incredibly relaxing, and it really helped me wind down at the end of the day.”
Did you know that a humidifier can benefit your skin by adding moisture, boosting hydration, and strengthening the skin’s barrier? And this 2.0 version also functions as an aroma diffuser, a sound machine, and a night light. It even has smart sensors that inhibit mold growth. Our tester raved, “The product is great for anyone looking to boost hydration and enhance their sleep experience. I noticed my apartment air felt less stale and not overly humid or heavy. I woke up to my skin feeling more hydrated than usual. I also loved the added features, which made the tool a perfect multi-use product and were a big value add. I am also obsessed with the essential oils the humidifier came with!”
This sleek ring provides users with daily sleep and “readiness” scores based on heart rate, body temperature, sleep cycle, and respiratory rate. It can even track your steps, menstrual cycle, and general daily activity. The latest iteration now comes in a ceramic finish available in multiple colors like sage green, blush pink, and cloud white. Our tester found that the sleep tracker in particular has helped her improve her nighttime routine for better sleep. The sage green color of the ceramic ring “feels more like a fun jewelry accessory,” she said.
When connected to an accompanying app, this tool provides real-time expert guidance for an at-home laser treatment. Best for light to medium-dark skin tones, this device uses intense pulsed light to target the pigment of the hair and sends thermal energy down the follicle to prevent growth. The tool comes with three interchangeable heads, each designed to target different areas of the body. It also automatically adjusts the intensity of the light to prevent burns or discoloration. Our tester noticed slightly less hair in treated areas and noted that the treatment wasn’t painful. She added, “I found both the device and the app very user-friendly.”
