THE RUNDOWN
- Selena Gomez posted new photos from a recent Rare Beauty photo shoot.
- Her husband, Benny Blanco, shared a tribute to his wife and the stunning images on Instagram.
- The Only Murders in the Building star is in London to film the newest season.
On Saturday, Selena Gomez posted a series of new photos taken for a Rare Beauty surprise she teased in the caption. In the first few photos, she is wearing an off-the-shoulder top in butter yellow with transparent sleeves. She is sitting against a green backdrop covered in flowers and has her hair down in soft waves around her face.
In the next few pictures, Gomez is getting her makeup done and chewing on blue gum. The singer is wearing iridescent green eye shadow, which she is still wearing in the final slide, in which she is wearing a chocolate brown suit. She has her hair slicked back and a pair of gold hoops in her ears. With the images, she wrote, “somethin very very exciting is happening with @rarebeauty ????”
Gomez’s husband, Benny Blanco, was quick to share the pictures in his own Instagram Stories, writing over them, “i married a real life princess.”
The couple is clearly thinking about one another. The night before, Gomez shared a picture of her hand resting on Blanco’s knee, writing, “missing this so much,” adding a wide-eyed emoji. Her marquise diamond engagement ring is very prominent in the image.
The star is currently in London, where she’s filming a new season of her hit Hulu show, Only Murders in the Building. Blanco seems to still be in Los Angeles, and it is likely he won’t be visiting—the music producer is very uncomfortable with flying.
In an interview with ELLE, Blanco said of air travel, “Oh my God, I hate it. Terrifying. I’m in Dallas right now. I’m driving to New York from Los Angeles.”
And when the couple appeared together for On Purpose with Jay Shetty, he explained, “I take the boat to Europe. Oh my God, it’s so long. It’s like first you have to drive to New York and then you get on a boat for eight days, and you’re on the Titanic.”
