Taylor Swift Was Totally Surprised by Travis Kelce at Her Wrap Party: ‘Couldn’t Have Been More Shocked’

This week, pictures from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour wrap party in Kansas City started popping up on her friends’ Instagram feeds. The epic concert series was celebrated by all her pals and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who was credited with setting up the surprise event. According to a source speaking with Page Six, Swift was “shocked” when she entered the room.

The insider said that the pop star was “blown away” that Kelce “went out of his way” to throw her a huge bash.

“Taylor couldn’t have been more shocked when she saw everyone standing there,” the insider said. “That was the last thing she was expecting and she couldn’t believe Travis went out of his way to throw a surprise party for her. She thought it was so thoughtful and such a sweet gesture. It really meant so much to her.”

The source suggested that Kelce “had this party planned for a while” and it was “something he knew he wanted to do” for his girlfriend. The NFL star “wanted to throw Taylor a surprise party because he felt like she deserved a huge celebration after all the hard work she’s put in.”

They added that he is “so proud of her” and “thankful he was able to pull it off without a hitch.”

Photos shared by Swift’s bestie Ashley Avignone indicated that there was a surprise involved even before the Page Six report. In a carousel of photos from the party, Kelce and Swift can be seen dancing. Ine one shot he playfully put a hat on her head as he sang into a mic. In the caption, Avignone wrote, “When she thought she was going to a small, quiet dinner but it was actually a giant surprise party with her friends and family, props included.”

Swift’s tour came to a close on December 8 in Vancouver, Canada.
