In photos, they can be seen salsa dancing before leaning in for a sweet kiss.
In the pictures, Meghan is wearing a white skirt by Juan de Dios with embroidered leaf motifs in subtle cream. She paired it with a white T-shirt and brown Stuart Weitzman sandals. She left her hair down and had on several gold bracelets and a watch. Prince Harry wore a blue button-down shirt and white pants.
“Upon their arrival, the couple received a warm and enthusiastic welcome, as their visit opened with various salsa and hip hop performances,” read a press release about the night on their website. “The Duke and Duchess joined the student dancers on the floor towards the end of the musical segment.”
That night at the Petronio Music Festival, Meghan changed into a spaghetti strap green and white patterned Andrés Otalora dress and a pair of Felix hoop earrings by Tres Almas jewelry.
On Sunday, the couple attended a women’s empowerment forum titled Afro-Descendant Women and Power: Voice of Equity with Colombian Vice President Francia Márquez. The Duchess spoke to the audience about her own experiences, and even mentioned her daughter, Lilibet.
“I know how it feels when you don’t utilize your voice when you need to be heard or have something to say,” Meghan reportedly told the crowd. “I encourage our daughter to do so—who at 3 has absolutely found her voice, and we are so proud of that.”
She also mentioned her own mother, Doria Ragland.
“I find inspiration in the strong women around me, of course my mother being one of them,” she said. “So much of how I approach things is less about the fight and more about how do we show up in a space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity. Those are the elements that inspire me.”
