Here’s When You Can Stream Fallout

Surprise! The Fallout TV adaptation is dropping a few days early, and all episodes are debuting at once. The Prime Video series will be available to stream starting today at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PT.

Based on the wildly popular video game franchise, the post-apocalyptic series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) as a vault dweller named Lucy on a dangerous mission in The Wasteland; Aaron Moten (Emancipation) as Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel; and Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight) as an undead bounty hunter known as The Ghoul.

Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Graham Wagner (Portlandia) serve as Fallout’s executive producers, writers, and co-showrunners; while Westworld’s Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are EPs. The game’s creator, Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios, is also executive producing.

This isn’t the first time the Fallout release date was changed. Though it was originally slated to premiere on April 12, Amazon announced last month that it would premiere a day early on April 11. Then, this week, the streamer moved the date up once again. (The latest announcement was made during the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game.)

If you binge the whole season of Fallout at once, there might be even more to look forward to. Amazon MGM Studios received a $25 million tax credit offer from the California Film Commission to relocate production from New York to Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which means season 2 is likely already in the works. Amazon has yet to officially confirm news of a renewal.

How can I watch Fallout?

All eight episodes will drop on Wednesday April 10 at 6 p.m. They’ll be available to stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the globe.

You’ll need to be subscribed to tune in: an Amazon Prime membership is $14.99 per month, while a Prime Video membership is $8.99 per month, after a 30 day free trial.
