A Streaming Guide to Argylle
The highly anticipated spy caper Argylle is out in theaters, and it has quite a cast list. It stars Henry Cavill as the titular character and is Dua Lipa’s first movie role outside of her brief cameo as a Mattel-mermaid in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
But not everyone wants to see movies in theaters and the film is promised to stream online. Here’s the full streaming guide for Argylle.
What is Argylle about?
The story follows bestselling author Elly Conway, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, who writes about the exploits of the spy Argylle, who she obviously believes to be fictional. But the events of her spy novels start to mirror what’s happening in a real life syndicate and she soon encounters the man himself.
Director Matthew Vaughn compared the story to the James Bond universe, saying, “When I read this early draft manuscript I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the ‘50s. This is going to reinvent the spy genre.”
Who stars in Argylle?
Cavill, Howard, and Lipa are joined by quite a cast including Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Ariana DeBose, John Cena, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Is Argylle available to stream now ?
It is an Apple movie, but right now Argylle is exclusively in cinemas. If the movie follows the same pattern as recent releases Killers of the Flower Moon and Napoleon, it should be available to buy or rent digitally in about six weeks. But an exact date has not yet been confirmed.
When it is available to stream on AppleTV+ viewers with a subscription should be able to watch.
