Selena Gomez Shares Photo of Boyfriend Benny Blanco Kissing Her
On Saturday, Selena Gomez shared another selfie with boyfriend Benny Blanco, shortly after he did the same. In the Instagram Story snap, they’re standing together on a pier on a gorgeous day, and Blanco has his arms wrapped around her as he plants a kiss on her cheek. The music producer is wearing a floral hoodie and bracelets, while Gomez is in a black coat over a white cardigan with her hair down.
She smiles at the camera and leans back into Blanco’s embrace.
A few days ago, Blanco also shared a photo of a kiss between him and Gomez, though in this picture she was laying one on him. He is barely visible in the photo, except for his shoulder in a quilted jacket, and Gomez is wearing a very minimal makeup palette as she gives him a kiss on the cheek.
The couple have probably been together for about six months, though Gomez only confirmed she and Blanco were dating earlier this month. In response to comments from Instagram followers, Gomez said, as captured by PopCrave, “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” and in response to criticism of Blanco, she asked, “then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end.”
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Blanco makes the Rare Beauty founder feel “safe and secure.”
“Benny is a great communicator, is honest and open with Selena, and listens to her,” said the insider. “He’s respectful, isn’t a player, and not in it for the attention or fame. He doesn’t care about any of that and Selena sees that and really trusts him.”
That was reportedly why she felt comfortable sharing their relationship and that it “was a good time to share how happy she is with her fans.”
“It’s taken a lot for her to let someone in, but Benny has proven himself to her and she appreciates his ideals and morals,” they went on. “She feels like she can give him a part of her heart that she hasn’t been able to, or willing to, offer in a relationship in a very long time.”
They continued, “Selena feels like she has finally found one of the good guys and it’s been very refreshing for her.”
The insider added that it is “mutual” and the couple is “looking forward to growing their relationship and special bond.”
