Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are Reportedly Getting ‘More Serious’

Taylor Swift made her first appearance at one of Travis Kelce’s games in late September, but a source says that a month later things are already getting “more serious.”

“It’s quickly turning more serious,” the insider told People. “They share a strong work ethic and have a huge appreciation for life and their careers, strong family bond and values.”

They added that Swift sees him as “sweet, goofy and just a blast to be around.”

On October 22, Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers, sitting in the VIP box with new friend Brittany Mahomes at Arrowhead Stadium. The next night, Swift and Kelce went on a date to local Argentine steakhouse Piropos. She has also met both of Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed.

Ed Kelce shared a story with People about the first time he met the Eras Tour singer.

“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed said. “We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”

Ed went on, “And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”

Earlier this month, a source told Us Weekly that things are very different between Swift and Kelce in comparison to her past relationships.

“Travis is different from anybody Taylor has dated before, and she is falling for him more and more as the days go by,” said the insider. “[He] goes out of his way to make Taylor feel special in any way he can.” One example was through flowers, the source revealed: “Taylor couldn’t believe the massive bouquet of flowers Travis sent to her just because.”

They added, “He makes her feel safe and protected, and at the same time, he supports her independence and success. Things are going really well [for them].”
