Adele Sparked Her Own Marriage Rumors After Calling Rich Paul Her ‘Husband’ at Vegas Show

Adele may have dropped a bombshell with just one word at her Las Vegas residency on Saturday. Entertainment Tonight reported that during a portion of the show where Adele took audience questions, one attendee asked her if she could marry her. Adele responded, “You can’t marry me, I’m straight, my love. And my husband’s here tonight. He’s here.” The outlet noted that Adele’s boyfriend of two years, Rich Paul, has “frequently” attended her shows.

When the fan jokingly asked if she could try being with her, Adele doubled down, saying, “Oh no, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich.”

Adele first sparked engagement rumors in February 2022 when she wore a diamond ring on her left ring finger at the BRIT Awards. She was asked about the engagement rumors during her appearance on The Graham Norton Show days after. She responded, “If I was, would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?”

The singer has been vocal about her hopes to expand her family with Paul. Adele has one son, 10-year-old Angelo, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki. She spoke in late August about how “I really want to be a mom again soon” during one of her Vegas shows.

She told ELLE in August 2022 that she would definitely get married again. “Yes, absolutely,” she said. When asked if she was engaged, she responded, “Well! Well. Well, I’m not married. I’m not married.” Then she added, “I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.” She later clarified in another conversation for ELLE’s piece that “I’m not engaged. I just love high-end jewelry, boy!”

She mentioned her desire to have more children then too, saying, “I definitely want more kids. I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music. But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I wanna fucking nail it.”
