Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Complete Relationship Timeline

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have had a very passionate and public relationship and were engaged after less than a year of dating in October 2021. They shared photos from the beach proposal in Montecito, California.

They ended up having quite a few weddings ceremonies, one in las Vegas, one in a Santa Barbara clerk’s office to make things legal, and one in Italy. This might all seem fast, but they have actually been friends and neighbors for quite some time. They both have homes in Calabasas but have been in other relationships.

Kardashian has three children with her ex, Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. Barker has two children: Landon and Alabama, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, and is the step-dad to Moakler’s daughter, Atiana Cecilia De La Hoya.

January 2021

The couple was seen together in Palm Springs at Kris Jenner’s home there, sparking rumors they might be dating. People reported in late January that it was official, with a source saying, “They’re in Palm Springs together. They’ve been dating for about a month or two.” The source added, “Travis has liked her for a while.”

February 2021

E! reported they went to dinner at Matsuhisa in Los Angeles, and an eyewitness told the publication that “they seem very connected, very close. Travis took her hand, and they giggled as they started having a little thumb war with one another. It was playful and sweet. They were talking constantly and very engaged with one another. It seems like such a natural fit.”

They spent that Valentine’s Day together, according to Page Six. Barker went semi-Instagram official by sharing a photo of a diamond anklet that he gave her on his Instagram Story. Kardashian shared an ode to her new boyfriend on her Instagram Story: “Roses are red / Violets are blue / Garlic bread / Blink-182,” the poem read.

She later went official-official with a picture of her hand and Barker’s entwined. Barker commented “????” on the post. A source told People at the time,“Kourtney is very happy with Travis. She wanted to confirm their relationship, because it’s something positive.”

March 2021

In early March, Barker made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. Barrymore asked Barker about dating with kids, and he took the opportunity to praise Kardashian.

“Up until now, I would date girls who didn’t have kids, and I find it kind of hard because I think they would have trouble understanding, like, ‘Why don’t you want to go to dinner every night with me? Or why don’t you want to see me every night?’,” Barker said. “And now, I’m spending time with a woman who’s a great mom, who’s a great friend, and you don’t have to worry about any of those things. It just comes natural.”

Later in March, they were photographed at UFC 260: Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 fight, alongside friends Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly.

April 2021

They took their first family vacation in April, heading to Deer Valley, Utah. Kardashian shared pics featuring Alabama and Atiana on snowmobiles.

Kardashian called Barker her boyfriend for the first time in a TikTok posted by Barker’s daughter, Alabama, while playing the viral “Pass the Phone” challenge.

“I’m passing the phone to my boyfriend,” she said.

Barker also shared content from the vacation, including some videos from the slopes.

They spent that Easter together as well, and Kris Jenner shared pics of the family gathering on Instagram.

“Happy Easter, and thank you @callawaygolf #irvingazoff for making our Easter so special!!! ???????????????????? and thank you for the @coreygamble @realtristan13 @travisscott @travisbarker that are already on the golf course!!!!!!! LOL #impatient,” Jenner captioned the post.

That month, a source told Entertainment Tonight that things had become “way more serious.”

“This is the happiest Kourtney has been in a while, and her family is thrilled for her,” the source said. “Kourtney and Travis’ kids get along great, and all have the best time together. Kourtney’s been trying to keep their relationship as private as she can on social media, but they’re both super into each other and cute together.”

Then Barker got a tattoo reading “Kourtney” on his chest.

Kardashian helped Barker take his first flight since 2008 after surviving a crash 13 years prior. He captioned his post about the flight to Mexico, “With you anything is possible.”

They headed to Italy to celebrate.

Shortly after, Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick sent an Instagram DM to one of The Kardashian star’s ex-boyfriends, Younes Bendjima, saying, “Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.”

Disick appeared to be jealous of her affection with with her new beau.

On October 17, 2021, Barker proposed to Kardashian on the beach in Montecito, California.

April 2022

The couple enjoyed a “practice” wedding in Las Vegas after the Grammys, and she shared photos of her and Barker at a chapel, explaining they were not actually married.

February 2022

Talk of having kids is on the table. A source speaking to Entertainment Tonight said that the couple is “so in love,” and they are “open to the idea of having children together and growing their family.”

It was added that “their families are both supportive of it too and just want them to be happy.”

May 2022

They had another wedding ceremony in May, but this one was legally binding. TMZ broke the news that they were married on Sunday, May 15, in Santa Barbara. They left the scene of the courthouse in a convertible with a “Just Married” sign attached to its trunk.

People confirmed the news, with a source saying, “They had to legally get married first ahead of their big Italian wedding, which is happening very soon. All the details are set and the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited.”

June 2022

In June, Barker had a scary and painful health complication and had to be hospitalized for pancreatitis. TMZ wrote he was checked into West Hills hospital, then transferred by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Later, Barker wrote on Instagram Stories, “I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But After dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.”

He continued, “During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.”

Barker concluded, “I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.”

On Stories, Kardashian wrote, “Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.”

She added, “I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative.”

She then thanked doctors and nurses at Cedars Sinai for their “wonderful care” of them both, writing, “It’s crazy how sometimes words could never truly express the gratitude or feelings I have inside me.”

August 2022

Kardashian joined Travis Barker as he went on tour with Machine Gun Kelly, and shared some pictures of what it looks like being a “tour wife.”

In September, Kardashian told WSJ magazine that she and Barker had decided to pause their fertility treatments when they were planning their wedding.

She added, “Whatever’s meant to be… Being happy is most important, and being a good parent to my kids.”

June 2023

In June, Kardashian and Barker announced they were expecting a baby by having the POOSH founder hold up a sign reading, “Travis, I’m pregnant” at a Blink-182 concert.

Just one week later, they shared the baby’s sex with a shot of blue confetti: They are having a boy.
