Beyoncé Wore a Sheer Black Corset Dress on Her Renaissance Tour

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour wardrobe is just getting started, the singer made clear on Instagram.

Bey shared photos of a new outfit from her tour: an ultra-short black corset minidress with sheer sleeves, which she wore at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It’s truly The Jetsons meets modern pop star attire. Beyoncé dropped close-up photos of the look with no caption. She accessorized with dangly earrings and a matching necklace.

So far, Beyoncé’s tour looks have consisted of a lot of futuristic pieces like this one. At one point, she even incorporated UV lighting to transform one of her dresses from the show.

The singer hasn’t yet given an in-depth interview during her tour, but she has regularly shared photos from it. She drew attention this week for her tribute to her 11-year-old daughter Blue, who performed with her onstage in Paris and London. “My beautiful first born ???????? I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama,” she wrote. “You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.” Beyoncé shared photos and video of Blue’s big moment:

In her last major interview given in August 2021, Beyoncé spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about her intentions with music. Addressing the COVID-19 pandemic and hinting that her album would ultimately be called Act I: Renaissance, she told the outlet, “With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible. I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”

Renaissance is the first part of a three-act music project. Beyoncé has yet to share the drop date for the second act.
