Kylie Jenner Wants You to Drink More Water

Whichever way you slice it, Kylie Jenner is one of the most influential people in the world—particularly when it comes to her look. Whether it’s her physique, hair, style, or features—yes, including her lips—each attribute is treated like somewhat of a gold standard. A true business woman, Jenner has never shied away from capitalizing on this fact. Her beauty line went viral when she first launched her famed lip kits in 2015 and has continued to garner buzz ever since. Now, she’s flexing her power in a new way, proving that she really can sell anything with her latest venture: water.

Yes, you read that right. Glow Beverages is not Jenner’s company, to be clear, but she is a stakeholder and brand ambassador (as is Dak Prescott). For the uninitiated, Glow makes “functional sparking beverages,” which are essentially enhanced sparkling waters. Featuring seven vitamins, three minerals, antioxidants, electrolytes, and amino acids for under 15 calories per bottle, this fancy water is nothing to scoff at. Plus—spoiler alert—Jenner says they make great cocktail mixers. Perhaps she really does know best. Here, more from her on Glow, the importance of hydration, and the secret to healthy skin.

When did you first learn about Glow Beverages?

A friend introduced me to Glow, and I immediately loved it. Glow has the sparkling element that I want in a drink with added functional benefits like vitamins and an energy boost. The flavors are so delicious, too. It’s important for me to not only enjoy what I’m drinking, but also have that product be good for you and satisfying. For me, it’s important to partner with brands that are a part of my everyday routine, so this was an easy decision. I’m proud to be involved.

How important is hydration to you?

Hydration is big part of my life. I definitely notice when I have not had enough [hydration] throughout the day. I feel better, my skin glows, and I’m energized when I keep up my routine drinking liquids. Glow’s Sparkling Hydration and Energy has recently become a go-to. Unlike some other beverages on the market, it contains milk thistle, prickly pear, and 5-HTP, to name a few. For me, a serotonin boost and 5-HTP are important and can help boost my mood, regulate my appetite, and manage pain.

I feel it when I’m dehydrated. Sometimes with my schedule, it’s hard to keep up, but I try to have water with me. I love the Glow Ultra Smooth Alkaline Water—it’s an easy hydration refresh.

How much does staying hydrated factor into your wellness and beauty regimens?

Over the years, I’ve learned that hydration is so important when it comes to achieving glowy skin. I’m constantly sipping water throughout the day. I love flavored and carbonated water because it’s more fun to drink! And Glow has ingredients like vitamin A and C that support healthy skin. My favorites right now are the Ultra Smooth Alkaline Water or one of its Sparkling Hydration or Energy bottles. I’ve found that wellness and beauty really begin from the inside out, and staying hydrated is a huge part of looking and feeling my best.

Is Glow your go-to drink?

I try to mix it up throughout the day. I’ll drink plain water and then switch out with flavors or sparkling. Glow has a variety of delicious flavors like Mango Apricot and Pineapple Blood Orange, and special ingredients like milk thistle seed extract and prickly pear leaf extract.

Which flavor is your favorite?

Glow’s Spicy Watermelon. Especially since it’s almost summer, and it’s so good on its own or as a mixer.
