Dua Lipa Put Her Abs and Pearls on Display in a Crop Top and Biker Shorts for a 2023 Met Gala After-Party

Dua Lipa wore a gorgeous vintage 1992 Chanel princess ball gown on the Met Gala red carpet. But for an after-party, she switched into a very different—and far more sporty—look: the singer paired a black crop top with biker shorts. She accessorized with tons of layered necklaces, including pearl strands and one that spelled “Chanel,” sheer black tights, and heels.

Lipa served as a co-chair for this year’s Met Gala. She discussed the difference between co-hosting and attending briefly in a red carpet interview with Vogue. “It’s a big responsibility and a big honor, and I feel very lucky that Anna [Wintour] asked me to do this, to honor Karl [Lagerfeld] tonight and his legacy,” she said, touching on the night’s “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” theme. “We have some work to do inside. But it’s going to be such an exciting, amazing experience, and I’m really looking forward to it.”

She also revealed that she borrowed her ensemble for the night from Chanel. “It’s been on my mood board forever,” she said of the bridal look. “And when the opportunity came, I was just like, is there any way I can find this dress?”

“[Chanel] allowed me to borrow it for tonight,” she added. “It’s a big dream come true for me, so I’m very happy.”

Lipa has yet to post about the Met Gala on social media, but she was photographed posing with Rihanna and filmed partying with Billie Eilish at a post-gala event.
