Fans Think Rihanna Hinted at Her Second Baby’s Sex While Shopping

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky privately knew the sex of their first baby, opting not to reveal it to the public until after they welcomed their baby boy last May. Now, fans think Rihanna may have given them a big hint about whether she and Rocky will be having a daughter or son next because of the baby clothes she was photographed looking at while shopping. Daily Mail ran photos of the singer and entrepreneur looking at a pastel pink romper, a public signal that she may be having a girl.

That said, Rihanna was also photographed looking at girls’ clothes during her first pregnancy, despite actually expecting a boy. So it is just as likely that she could be browsing or shopping for a friend’s baby. Rihanna hasn’t shared the due date for her second pregnancy or much more details beyond the fact that she and Rocky are expanding their family.

Rihanna spoke about her and Rocky knowing their first baby’s sex to British Vogue in an interview it published this February. “Rocky wanted to know. He wanted a boy,” she said. “At first he was open, then he was like, ‘Nah, I want a boy, I’m sure.’ I was just like, ‘Lord, please let this man get what he wants…’”

Now that they’ve had a son, Rihanna is happy to have a baby boy or girl this time. “Listen, I’m down for whatever,” she said in an interview conducted before she announced her second pregnancy. “My wish would be I would like to have more kids but whatever God wants for me, I’m here. I’m open [to whatever baby gender next]. Girl, boy. Whatever.”
