Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Spotted on Hawaiian Vacation Amid Report They’re ‘on a Break’
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s private efforts to repair their relationship seem to be going somewhere…or at least far enough that the former couple was willing to travel on vacation together. TMZ reported that the pair was photographed having dinner at the Four Seasons Hawaii. The outlet noted that there was no PDA, but they still seemed to be in good spirits. Sources told TMZ that Kelly and Fox dined for an hour and waved to two fans before leaving the venue and walking down to the beach. The outlet had no intel on what their relationship status currently is. The vacation is a promising sign, though. During Super Bowl weekend, Fox sparked breakup rumors when she took down basically all her photos with Kelly on Instagram and unfollowed him on the platform. She later denied infidelity was a factor in their issues in a statement she posted to her Instagram (and later took down). Most recent reports noted that Fox attended Vanity Fair‘s Oscar after party alone and wasn’t wearing the engagement ring Kelly gave her last year. Sources also spoke to multiple outlets, saying that most people around Kelly and Fox are not convinced they are going to reconcile.
A source told People in mid-March, “They’re not completely done. They’re still trying to sort through things, but most of their friends think it is likely over. They’re just not ready to totally call it yet.”
Another source told Us Weekly around the same time, “[Megan] isn’t sure where things stand with Colson [Kelly’s real name], and it’s complicated at the moment. They’re still working on their relationship because the love they had was the real deal. That’s not something that just goes away overnight. However, they would need to have a significant breakthrough to make things work. It’s all up in the air right now.”
On March 22, Us Weekly’s source went one step further, describing the couple as “on a break.”
“Megan and MGK are currently on a break but are still in contact,” the source said. “They are very hot and cold. [They] have stalled wedding planning to work on their issues. Their relationship is pretty volatile at the moment. They are currently off, but still texting each other.”
