Edo government to issue 10000 C-of-Os yearly – Guardian Nigeria

As part of efforts by the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration to improve land management in the state, Edo State Government plans to acquire a mobile digital mapper.

Managing Director, Edo State Geographic Information Service Agency (EdoGIS), Frank Evbuomwan, an architect, who disclosed this to journalists in Benin City, said the agency’s target is to issue a minimum of 10, 000 Certificates of Occupancy (C-of-O) yearly.

According to him, “At EdoGIS, we deliver on our mandate. At the end of this year, we hope to have cleared the 10,000 mark, and after that, we will start doing a minimum of 10,000 digital C-of-O yearly.

Evbuomwan further explained that governmenty plans to open zonal offices in Auchi in Edo North Senatorial District and another in Uromi in Edo Central Senatorial District, before the end of 2021.

“We also plan to open zonal offices in Auchi in Edo North Senatorial District and another in Uromi in Edo Central senatorial District, before the end of this year.”
