Speaker of the Edo State Assembly, Mr Marcus Onobun has assured members that the house will resume parliamentary activities at the Chief Anthony Enahoro legislative complex, Kings Square, Benin, “in a few days.”

He said this, in Benin, on Wednesday. According to him, the complex is being cleared of miscreants and traders.

The former Speaker, Frank Okiye, had relocated legislative activities to the old legislative Chambers inside the Osadebau Avenue Government House, Benin City, in August 2019, when the roof of the complex was removed for renovation.

Onobun said, “Members have started fixing their offices.

“I am sure if you want to, you will be able to assess members of the House there in the next few days.”
