The Designers to Know at Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027
The second half of Copenhagen Fashion Week’s yearlong 20th-anniversary celebration has arrived. After kicking off the festivities in January, the biannual event has unveiled the lineup for its spring/summer 2027 edition—and it’s shaping up to be one of its strongest yet.
Slated to take place from August 3 to 7, the upcoming season positions established and budding Nordic talent alongside international names. Returning labels include Scandi favorites like By Malene Birger, Stine Goya, and Marimekko alongside new editions like Almada Label and Yours Truly by Peter Jensen.
Institution, a 2026 LVMH Prize finalist and winner of the Zalando Visionary Award, is also slated to present, as is Collina Strada. The New York-based brand, known for its vibrant use of color and upcycled garments, is the event’s first addition to its International Guest Slot, a new collaboration between CPHFW and The Climate Pledge meant to highlight the importance of global collaboration.
“The city has built such a thoughtful, forward-thinking community that really values creativity, individuality, and responsibility,” says Hillary Taymour, founder and creative director of Collina Strada. “It feels like a place where Collina Strada can exist naturally, and I’m excited to show within a fashion week that’s genuinely pushing the industry consciously forward.”
As has been the case since the event’s inception, sustainability is at the heart of this season’s lineup. Each participating brand must meet the event’s 19 minimum standards, which include requirements like the ban on exotics—fur, feathers, and reptile skins—emission-reduction investments, and a workplace code of conduct.
Here are the 36 brands scheduled to present at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
