On Valentine’s Day, Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams shared a loving tribute to his longtime girlfriend in his Instagram Stories. The Canadian actor did not identify her by name, but he did offer some insight into their close relationship.

In his photo montage, he shared photos from their life together, including a few mirror selfies, pictures of them cuddling on the couch, speaking on FaceTime, and out by the water on a cold day. In one picture, she is seated in a restaurant next to Williams’ co-star, Connor Storrie, who Williams playfully drew a red heart around.

Over the pictures, Williams wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” adding that his girlfriend has been with him “since my 2000 gold Mazda Protégé smoked and squealed and I had no job.”

Over the last few months, both Williams and Storrie have been catapulted into massive fame due to the popularity of their Crave and HBO Max series. Heated Rivalry follows two hockey players, Shane Hollander and his Russian rival Ilya Rozanov, through ten years of their careers and ten years of a secret romance. The show explores issues around sexuality, identity, and navigating fame as queer men in professional sports.

Since its release, fans have wanted to know more about both the stars’ personal lives. Unsurprisingly, the actors prefer to keep their private lives as private as possible. However, they understand the interest, including curiosity about their connection. For the record, they are just friends, but very comfortable with one another on and off screen.

Williams told Deadline in December 2025, “I want queer people telling queer stories, but also, there’s the element of Connor and I—we’re best friends, and we love expressing that physically. You see people who infer or assume, and you kind of have to let that go. But then again, I never wanna stop expressing the love I have for Connor physically, and I’m never really going to, and I think multiple things can be true at once.”

Storrie agreed, saying, “I feel honored to be able to bring someone to life that so many people feel seen, understood, and represented by, and I think that transcends whoever I’m sleeping with in my real life.”
