More was more at Valentino, and Samara Weaving came prepared.

The actress and resident scream queen arrived at the house’s spring/summer 2027 show in Paris yesterday wearing an electric-blue top emblazoned with the words “Villain Teen”—a phrase Alessandro Michele also splashed across baseball caps on the runway.

Weaving tucked her tee into slouchy charcoal trousers, cinched with a glossy black Valentino belt, and added an unexpected hit of color with hot-pink Rockstud pumps.

The accessories only gave the look more personality. Weaving carried a black quilted bag covered in tiny floral embellishments and finished things off with oversize black sunglasses. Stylist Jordan Dorso seemed to follow the maximalist vibe for the look.

That philosophy extended to the runway itself. Dubbed “Antibiblioteca,” the collection was presented inside the 19th-century Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, where guests sat at long reading tables and were even asked to bring a book. The clothes, however, were anything but quiet. Michele sent out hot pink hues, feathers, lace, enormous bows, opera gloves, stacks of jewelry, and plenty of ’80s-inspired pieces.

Weaving’s beauty look took a softer approach. Hairstylist Clara Leopard styled the actress’s blond hair in soft waves, while makeup artist Benjamin Puckey kept her beauty look fresh with glowing skin and a glossy pink lip. A bright red manicure added one more color to the mix.

The playful look feels especially fitting for an actress who has made a career out of refusing to stay in one lane. Weaving, who has become synonymous with horror through films like Ready or Not, recently told Coveteur that taking on something unfamiliar is precisely what keeps her work interesting. “When I read a script and I get nervous because it’s something I haven’t done before or it feels challenging, I want to do it,” she said. “I think because if I’m doing the things that I’ve done before or roles that I’d done before, it’s just not as fun at work. I really like a challenge.”

Apparently, the same willingness to play applies to her closet.
