  • Taylor Swift wore a red gingham polo dress from Guest In Residence to her husband Travis Kelce’s game last night.
  • Fans noticed the dress’s print appears to reference an early relationship milestone for Swift and Kelce.
  • Swift shared more Easter eggs related to her music during her pre-taped Emmys appearance last night.

Taylor Swift spent last night cheering on her husband, Travis Kelce, as he and the Kansas City Chiefs won their first game of the season against the Denver Broncos. The singer chose a very special look for the occasion: a red gingham polo minidress from her friend Gigi Hadid’s line Guest In Residence.

Fans noticed that the print appears to be an Easter egg that calls back to a milestone in Swift and Kelce’s relationship: their first PDA moment. In the shot his teammate Mecole Hardman Jr.’s fiancée Chariah Gordon shared on Oct. 23, 2023, Kelce wore a red gingham-print top as Swift kissed him on the cheek.

Swift dropped more than one Easter egg last night, though. She also appeared in a pre-taped Emmys sketch, where she and host Mariska Hargitay examined two bulletin boards full of potential clues. She also shared a cryptic message during the skit, which fans promptly worked to decipher.

The singer has worn tributes to Kelce before, including a “TNT” bracelet during their early days of dating.

The couple tied the knot on July 3. While Swift hasn’t spoken about their wedding yet, Kelce was effusive when discussing how much the night meant to him during a press briefing last month. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he said. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”

He spoke more about it on the September 2 episode of his podcast, New Heights. He discussed the mix of guests. “It was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood, not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood [group] and her family and friends and people that she works with to who we’ve come [to] encounter over our careers and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now,” he said. “It’s just been so cool to see that world come together and hear through person by person after the wedding just how awesome of a time everyone had there. That’s what we wanted it to be. We wanted it to be a beautiful ceremony. And we also wanted to make sure that everybody left there having some fun.”
