From Iced Chrome to Soft French, These Pedicure Trends Are Made for Sandal Season

The season for open-toed shoes is upon us, which means if you’ve been neglecting your hard-working feet for the past few months, it’s probably time to treat them to a pedicure.

Bright tomato reds and glimmering cat-eye finishes are always in the cards this time of year, but if you’re in the mood for something subtle, this season’s biggest trends are set to please.

“French pedicures are such a summer staple, and this season I’m doing lots of colored French tips which is really fun,” says nail artist Milly Mason, who’s also a fan of a delicate shine. “My favorite look at the moment is chrome—that glazed, glossy effect still feels so chic and elevated, especially on toes in summer. Clients are definitely gravitating towards soft milky tones and chrome finishes.”

Classic shades of red and inky, dark tones are a staple, but for warm weather, try a fiery, orange-scarlet or deep navy for a hint of freshness. According to Mason, there’s nothing cooler than having your mani-pedi complement each other. “A clean milky manicure with a glossy red or black pedicure always feels really chic,” she tells ELLE.

Iced Chrome

Minimalist yet light-catching, the seashell-inspired iced chrome pedicure is a summery take on shimmer.

Soft French

Instead of a baby pink, the slightly mauve-y tone of this base makes it feel grown-up and cool.

Cool Blue

Subtle shades of gray-blue are a major trend this year. Try it on your toes for a 2026 twist on the white pedicure.

Creme Pedicure

Embrace the milky manicure trend with a rich, creamy tone on the toes.

Butter Yellow

This pleasing, calming color continues to dominate and for good reason; It really brings out the best in your tan.

Neon Florals

Pedicures are a great way to ease into nail art, as they’re less obvious than the hands. Embrace the sunny mood of the season with a bright orange design and keep it simple with just one feature nail.

Bright Tips

A joyful splash of vibrant pink adds interest to the classic French pedicure.

Midnight Blue

Can’t give up your dark pedicure? Switch black for a deep, midnight navy to keep it fresh.
