BOMADI — The National Chairman of Phase 3 of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Ambassador Preye Ekpebide, has endorsed the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement initiated by former Niger Delta militant leader, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Ekpebide, who is also Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Security, disclosed this during an interview with journalists on Monday.

He commended President Tinubu’s reforms in the administration of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, describing them as remarkable.

The PAP Phase 3 chairman said more than 9,000 beneficiaries are currently undergoing training or education in various tertiary institutions within and outside Nigeria.

Ekpebide also praised Tompolo for initiating the movement, saying beneficiaries of the third phase of the programme are supporting the campaign for Tinubu’s re-election.

“I commend our leader, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, for his foresight and visionary leadership. This initiative is timely and a welcome development, particularly for beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, as the President is genuinely committed to improving the lives of Niger Delta youths.

“Presently, there are over 9,000 beneficiaries undergoing training or education in higher institutions both domestically and internationally, and we appreciate the commitment towards the success of the programme,” he said.

He commended the current leadership of the PAP under Chief Dennis Otuaro, describing its efforts as beneficial to programme beneficiaries.

Ekpebide said members of Phase 3 of the PAP would work with Tompolo to mobilise support across the Niger Delta region for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
