All About Alexandra Leclerc, Charles Leclerc’s Wife
Alexandra Leclerc has become one of Formula 1’s most recognizable fashion figures, but she built a public identity far beyond being Charles Leclerc’s wife. The Monaco-based influencer, art history student, and fashion collaborator first appeared alongside the Ferrari driver in 2023, and since then, she’s become a regular fixture at race weekends, fashion shows, and luxury brand events.
In February 2026, the couple officially tied the knot during a civil ceremony in Monaco after nearly three years together.
Here’s everything to know about Alexandra and her relationship with the Formula 1 star.
Alexandra studied art history in Paris.
Alexandra was born in France in 2002 and has Mexican, Italian, Argentinian, and French heritage. She later studied art history at L’École du Louvre in Paris, specializing in 20th century art.
Her interest in the art world extends beyond school. Before becoming a full-time creator, Alexandra worked as an art assistant at Hôtel Des Ventes De Monte-Carlo auction house and also worked with Monaco Art Week.
She still shares that side of herself online, too. Alongside her main Instagram account, Alexandra runs a separate page dedicated to art, exhibitions, and artists she loves.
She started dating Charles Leclerc in 2023.
Fans first began speculating that Alexandra and Charles were together in early 2023 after she appeared in the background of social media videos during Paris Fashion Week.
A few months later, Alexandra attended the Monaco Grand Prix as an official Ferrari guest, further fueling rumors.
Their first major public appearance as a couple was at Wimbledon in July 2023, where they were photographed together alongside fellow Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly and his girlfriend, Francisca Gomes.
Since then, the two have appeared together at NBA games, fashion events, Formula 1 races, and red carpets around the world.
Alexandra became a familiar face around the Formula 1 paddock.
As Charles’s Formula 1 career reached new heights, Alexandra regularly supported him throughout race weekends.
She has attended several races, including the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, where Charles earned his first hometown victory, and the Italian Grand Prix later that year.
Following the Monaco race, the couple attended Formula 1’s annual gala dinner alongside Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco.
She built a huge audience through fashion and lifestyle content.
Alexandra’s online following has exploded as she stepped more into the limelight in 2024. She now has millions of followers across Instagram and TikTok, where she shares beauty tutorials, fashion content, travel photos, and glimpses into her life in Monaco.
Her style especially helped distinguish her online presence. Rather than leaning into louder trends, Alexandra became known for minimalist silhouettes, neutral palettes, and polished styling.
In a May 2026 interview with The Cut, Alexandra explained that she genuinely enjoys planning outfits and building looks around references or locations.
“I love when there’s a story behind a look,” she said. “I love when the reference is right and it doesn’t feel random. It makes the whole look feel more personal.”
She also addressed navigating visibility online while keeping parts of her life private.
“I’m very selective about what I share,” Alexandra told The Cut. “I don’t feel the need to share everything.”
She has collaborated with major fashion and beauty brands.
As Alexandra’s following grew, luxury brands quickly took notice.
She has collaborated with Rhode, Meshki, Nina Ricci, and Jacquemus, among others.
She also appeared on the cover of ELLE Mexico in October 2025.
In April 2026, Alexandra launched a capsule collection with Frame inspired by her day-to-day style in Monaco.
The collection featured denim, structured separates, leather pants, fitted dresses, and matching sets designed around what Alexandra described as her actual everyday wardrobe.
“This isn’t a collection I designed for a version of myself,” she told WWD. “It’s pieces I actually reach for, in a city that’s actually my home.”
She added that the collaboration felt especially personal because the campaign was photographed around places she regularly visits in Monaco.
Charles proposed in 2025—with help from their dog Leo.
Charles announced the couple’s engagement in November 2025 through a joint Instagram post featuring their dachshund, Leo.
Leo wore a tag that read, “Dad wants to marry you!” during the proposal. The setup also included roses, candles, and cookies decorated with phrases including “We’re getting married.”
The engagement announcement quickly drew congratulations from several Formula 1 drivers, including Lewis Hamilton.
The couple married in Monaco in February 2026.
Charles and Alexandra officially tied the knot on Feb. 28, 2026, during a civil ceremony in Monaco.
Alexandra wore a custom Paolo Sebastian fishtail gown, while Charles opted for a beige suit.
Their dachshund Leo attended the ceremony too, wearing a tiny tuxedo.
The couple later shared photos from the wedding on Instagram, including shots of them driving through Monaco in a vintage red Ferrari.
“A day we’ll forever remember,” Charles wrote in his caption, revealing that the pair plans to hold another larger celebration in the future.
After the wedding, Alexandra, whose maiden name is Alexandra Saint Mleux, updated her social media name to Alexandra Leclerc.
Alexandra and Charles made their Cannes debut as newlyweds in 2026.
A few months after their wedding, Alexandra and Charles attended the Cannes Film Festival together for the premiere of A Woman’s Life on May 13.
The appearance marked one of their first major public outings together as a married couple outside of Formula 1 events.
She also showcased several standout looks during the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
Alexandra’s fashion choices generated almost as much attention as the racing during the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.
On June 5, she arrived in the paddock wearing a white halter-neck Jacquemus minidress featuring a voluminous silhouette and an asymmetrical hemline.
The following day, Alexandra opted for a strapless red-and-white polka-dot column dress, accessorizing with a white handbag.
On June 7, she chose a look from Oscar de la Renta’s spring 2026 collection. The ivory gown featured intricate floral-inspired embroidery across the bodice and delicate fringe detailing throughout the skirt. She completed the outfit with Oscar de la Renta’s mini Poppy handbag and wore her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail. The fashion house later confirmed the look on Instagram.
During the race, Alexandra was also photographed with Kim Kardashian while cheering on Charles.
She launched a charitable initiative supporting children and female artists.
Alongside her fashion work, Alexandra also launched the Corazones Unidos Fund through the King Baudouin Foundation.
The initiative supports Mexican children through education, music, and arts programming while also helping female artists.
“This fund is the realization of a dream I’ve carried in my heart for years,” Alexandra said on the foundation’s website. “Social networks have given me independence, and this chance immediately made me want to give back.”
Alexandra has opened up about fame, fashion, and philanthropy.
In her October 2025 ELLE Mexico interview, Alexandra reflected on how quickly her public profile grew.
“For me, it’s about what you do with the attention you receive,” she said. “If people are looking at you, you can use that platform for something positive or to bring visibility to something you’re passionate about.” She added that she approaches both her art account and her charitable initiative, Corazones Unidos, with that mindset.
Alexandra also discussed the connection between fashion and her background in art history. “Fashion can definitely be art, that’s how I see it,” she said. “They share a creative process, a meaning.”
She explained that traveling has also shaped the way she dresses. “When I travel, I love observing the culture of each country and taking time to find local pieces or designers that reflect the cultural identity of each place,” she said.
Alexandra also opened up about staying grounded amid her rise online. “I think everything comes down to staying authentic and humble,” Alexandra said. “Social media can be very noisy, but if you really know who you are, you won’t lose yourself.”
During the interview, Alexandra also spoke about her connection to Mexico through her family and her philanthropic work. “The warmth of the people, definitely,” she said when asked what makes her proudest of her Mexican side. “And what I enjoy most? The food. I love the food!”
She even shared her favorite dishes: “Chilaquiles and mole. My mom makes the best mole.”
