Phone signal on trains not good enough most of the time, research says

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology said it was looking at the telecommunications needs of the rail network as part of its 10 Year Infrastructure Strategy, due for completion by the end of the year. The government’s Mobile Market Review, which would include any potential reform of telecoms planning, would also be published later this year.
