Taylor Swift Gives the Little White Dress a Feminine Update for a Night Out in New York
THE RUNDOWN
- Taylor Swift stepped out in a little white dress in New York City tonight.
- The Retrofête minidress featured a fitted bodice and pleated drop-waist skirt.
- It marks the singer’s second outing in Manhattan this week, with the star being spotted getting dinner in a black Valentino minidress on Monday.
Taylor Swift’s bridal era is still going strong.
The singer stepped out in New York City wearing a white long-sleeve Retrofête minidress, which featured a fitted mock neck bodice and pleated drop waist skirt.
Swift paired the dress with pointed black sling-back Gucci heels, a quilted black bucket Dior bag, and delicate jewelry. She wore her hair pulled back into a ponytail tied with a black ribbon to match her black accessories.
The dress is currently available to shop online—and hasn’t sold out yet.
The appearance marks another look at Swift’s personal style following her appearances in New York City, London, and Greece over the last few weeks. Swift opted for black looks during her visit to London, wearing a Zimmermann floral corset dress and then a Staud silk top and Fleur du Mal slip skirt. On Monday night, she went out in a little black dress from Valentino that was accented with a silver sequin bow.
The outing also comes amid another busy stretch for the singer. Earlier this month, The New York Times Magazine published a wide-ranging interview with Swift focused on her songwriting process and career evolution.
“It’s still such a mystery to me,” Swift said of songwriting, adding that the tracks she has written have “happened quickly, they’ve happened over time, they’ve been inspired by my life, by mythology, by fables, by books, by movies, by characters, by warnings, lessons—and they never quite happen exactly the same way.”
