Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce quietly traveled across the pond to London during Met Gala week. The pair was photographed in the English capital and had a packed evening out that included dinner with a cinematographer, a trip to the theater to support Sadie Sink, and a birthday party with royalty.
Kelce and Swift coordinated in black ensembles for their outings, with Swift standing out in a floral corset midi dress from Zimmermann and Larkspur & Hawk earrings. Her fiancé complemented her in a gray Louis Vuitton logo suit worn with a black top and sparkling necklace.
The pair was first spotted at Indian restaurant Gymkhana with cinematographer Rina Yang, who worked with Swift on the music videos for “Lavender Haze,” “Bejeweled,” “Anti-Hero,” and “All Too Well: The Short Film.” (She is also the director of photography for Mother Mary.) Swift has called Yang “brilliant” and “incredible” in the past when discussing their projects. They enjoyed an hour-and-a-half-long meal with Yang before moving to their second destination.
Kelce and Swift continued their evening with a West End show, seeing Sadie Sink in Romeo & Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Sink, of course, also starred in “All Too Well: The Short Film.” The couple was seen giving Sink and her co-stars a standing ovation at the end of the play.
They ended their night at a 40th birthday party for Poppy Delevingne, Cara Delevingne’s older sister. They joined guests including Cara, Lily James, Georgia May Jagger, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice at The Hart, and later attended an after-party at 77 London. Throughout their day, Kelce and Swift were filmed and photographed holding hands, giving fans a rare look at their dynamic.
The couple has spent much of the year out of the public eye as they gear up for their upcoming wedding. Earlier this week, Kelce gave a little insight into how Swift has changed him, crediting her for expanding his culinary palate on New Heights.
“I’m trying to act like more of a man when I’m around her and eat foods I haven’t tried before,” he quipped.
