Meghan Markle Celebrates ‘Simplicity’ in Blue Sundress and Wide-Brimmed Hat

On Friday, Meghan Markle shared a new ensemble via her As Ever account on Instagram. In the new post, the Duchess of Sussex was wearing a long blue sundress with a ruched bodice and flowing skirt. She accessorized with a white wide-brimmed hat, her hair tucked up underneath.

In the new photo, Meghan is standing in a beautiful green backyard and leaning down to greet her dog affectionately. In the caption, the lifestyle brand wrote, “Simplicity at its sweetest.”

A week ago, Meghan shared a video of herself with Prince Harry. In the black-and-white clip, she and her husband dance on the lawn together. He eventually picks her up and she wraps her legs around his waist.

She paired the video with a photo taken early on in their dating history in which they are standing in a marsh together, laughing and embracing. The duchess credited the video to her four-year-old daughter, Lilibet.

She shared the same clip again in her Instagram Stories a few days later in color, along with videos and images of her enjoying the weather with Lilibet and her son, six-year-old Archie.

In a March 2025 interview with People, Meghan talked about watching her children grow up and getting to play with them as they age.

“When your children get to a certain age—when you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them, but almost playing in your own sandbox again—it’s super joyful,” she said. “As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again—in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older—is a wonderful feeling.”
