Summers-Valli confirmed she is expecting her first child with Melton through an Instagram shared on January 2. The post, captioned “making a lil family ????,” included a mix of editorial-style portraits and candid moments, including Melton lying beside her during a doctor’s visit.
She and Melton have kept their relationship out of the public eye.
Despite Melton’s high profile, neither he nor Summers-Valli has spoken publicly about their relationship.
Melton has previously addressed public scrutiny around relationships. In a March 2019 interview with Hunger magazine, he said, “People need to mind their own fucking business, honestly.”
“I don’t have Twitter, and it’s one of the reasons why I don’t read through all my comments on social media, because people are always going to talk,” he continued. “No matter what, people have always talked, even before this age of Instagram, but back then, you were less inclined to hear about someone talking about you, and honestly it’s not their place to have any authority over my relationships. Not everyone is going to be a supporter or a fan of your relationship, and people need to remember that opinions aren’t facts.”

“For the first three years I really didn’t pick up a camera, and I was already part of the furniture when I started filming,” she added. “It meant there was already a level of trust, and I think they loved the fact that I would herd sheep and then come back and film them.
