Lana Del Rey Marries Jeremy Dufrene in a Ruffle Neckline Gown During Louisiana Ceremony

Just days after Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene obtained their marriage license, the couple has tied the knot. Del Rey married the alligator tour guide on Thursday at the bayou where Dufrene works in Des Allemandes, Louisiana.

Daily Mail obtained photos and footage of their ceremony, including shots of Del Rey walking with her father in a ruffle neckline gown with a full skirt and short train. The musician had her hair styled in a side ponytail with a blue ribbon tied in for her “something blue.” See photos here.

People reported that Dufrene and Del Rey obtained their marriage license on September 23. They had 30 days from that date to get married, and they did so swiftly. This is Del Rey’s first marriage. Dufrene has a son and two daughters from a previous relationship.

The couple went public with their romance earlier this month when they attended the wedding of Karen Elson and Lee Foster together at New York City’s Electric Lady Studios.

Overall, Dufrene and Del Rey have kept their love story almost completely private. They posted about meeting in 2019 though. Del Rey took a tour at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours, where Dufrene works, while in the area for BUKU Music + Art Project festival.

Dufrene wrote on Instagram, “I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.” She shared her own Facebook post in March 2019 about her visit, calling him out in her caption: “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”

Their romance comes less than one year after Del Rey spoke to Harper’s Bazaar in November 2023 about being single. The outlet asked if she was currently in love with anyone. “I’m definitely not in love right now. No,” she said. “Absolutely not in love. Have been, but no.”

When asked if it was something she wanted, she shrugged and said, “Well, I’ll tell you. It hasn’t crossed my mind in the last five months on the road or here yet. But give it a week. My history, sure, it’s coming for me at some point. Yeah. It would be interesting if it didn’t. It would be interesting if it didn’t.”
