Margot Robbie Wears White Bodycon Dress With Long Black Coat in West Hollywood
On Saturday, Margot Robbie headed to the Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood wearing a white bodycon dress with a high turtleneck and an ankle-length skirt. Over her shoulders, she draped a long black coat and she accessorized with black sandal heels and a black baguette purse.
Robbie left her hair down and wore a coral lip. She was accompanied by friends rather than her husband Tom Ackerley. She and the film producer have been seen together quite a lot this summer as they enjoy the final months of Robbie’s pregnancy before welcoming their first child. The couple also recently announced another new film project. Their LuckyChap Productions team will be creating The Sims movie, based on the popular video game.
The couple worked on Robbie’s massive hit Barbie, starring the actress as the titular character. She played across from Ryan Gosling as Ken and the cast was star-studded, including America Ferrera, Michael Cera, Issa Rae, Will Ferrell, Dua Lipa, and many, many more. The script was penned by married couple Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach and directed by Gerwig. In an interview with Deadline, Robbie shared a bit about her company’s perspective on filmmaking.
“Honestly, I just don’t know what the point is in making a movie if you’re not trying to dig deep and explore something like that,” she said. “And maybe it’s because I love old movies so much. I rewatch movies voraciously. Some people never see a movie twice, but I’m a serial rewatcher, and I think, if I’m not going to try and make something that’s better than the films I already love, I’d rather use the time rewatching them.”
She continued, “I have no problem watching The Philadelphia Story for the 50th time. I have no problem watching Bridesmaids for the 100th time. So, unless I’m striving to make a movie that’s as good as those movies, I’m just going to rewatch them.”
