Florence Pugh Wears White Minidress With Lacey Cutouts to BAFTAs After-Party

Following the 2024 British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, Oppenheimer‘s Florence Pugh headed to an after-party at Nomad Hotel in London. The actress changed into a new ensemble for the gathering, wearing a white minidress in a lingerie style, with thin straps and several cutouts filled in with white lace.

Over her shoulders Pugh wore a feathered cover up, and accessorized with a pair of purple lens sunglasses. Her blonde hair was swept back away from her face and pinned with a side part.

To the actual award show, Pugh wore a black Harris Reed gown with a silver corset, and a long Boucheron necklace that dipped into the plunging neckline. She again had a stole hanging from her arms, this one made of black velvet.

At the after-party, Pugh met her co-stars from the Christopher Nolan film at the event, including Robert Downey Jr., who took home a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor. Oppenheimer‘s star, Cillian Murphy, won the Leading Actor prize for his turn as the titular character, and Nolan won the Best Director BAFTA.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Pugh said she had “no expectations” about working with Nolan for the first time.

“I had no expectations, other than the fact that he is probably the director that every single actor would race across the world for and pay for their own plane ticket,” she began. “No one could have prepared me for what it was like to work with him because that in itself is the experience. I would have been totally happy to never have seen this movie, just like being on that set and watching how that man conducts the set and how he conducts the people around him was thrilling enough.”

She added, “That was the gift, and it’s also wonderful that he also produces something amazing.”
