How Life Has Changed for Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian Since Birth of Son Rocky
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker welcomed their son Rocky Thirteen Barker on November 1, 2023. Since then, the couple has been enjoying new parenthood together, according to a source speaking with ET Online.
“Kourtney is beyond elated since welcoming Rocky. Spending time as a big family with their new addition has been amazing for Kourtney and Travis,” said the insider. “Kourtney’s family is so excited for her, and they already love Rocky so much. They’ve been showering Rocky with love and soaking up this time together.”
They added, “Travis has always been a great dad, which is one of the reasons Kourtney was so drawn to him at the beginning of their relationship, and seeing him in this role again in a different way has been very special. They’re doing great as a couple and continuing to be there for each other in this new chapter.”
Barker and Kardashian have both experienced having children before, of course. Kardashian shares three children with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, 14-year-old Mason, 11-year-old Penelope, and 9-year-old Reign. Barker shares two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 20-year-old Landon, and 18-year-old Alabama, as well as serving as step-dad to 24-year-old Atiana De La Hoya.
On Monday, January 15, the couple made their first appearance in public since Rocky was born, attending the 2023 Emmys in Los Angeles, where Barker was presenting. The pair wore matching black tux coats and sunglasses, stopping to share a sizzling kiss on the red carpet.
“Kourtney and Travis already had an unbreakable bond, but having a baby together has brought them even closer and made them fall even more in love,” a source told ET soon after Rocky’s birth. “This experience has solidified their feelings that they were destined to be together.”
