Why Jacob Elordi Doesn’t Bring Olivia Jade Giannulli to Events Despite Still Being ‘Very Much Together’

Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli are still together, despite Us Weekly’s report on January 17 that the couple split again. TMZ reported that Giannulli was seen in New York City, supporting her boyfriend as he prepares to host Saturday Night Live this weekend. Sources told the outlet she was seen near his dressing room in 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where he is rehearsing this week.

The Messenger spoke with a source who gave very rare intel about their relationship. That insider explained why Elordi has not taken Giannulli to any red carpet events with him during awards season or his various press tours for Priscilla and Saltburn.

The couple is “still very much together and going strong,” the source began. “There was never a split. Jacob has been very busy with work commitments but they have managed to still spend time together in between and the relationship is going well.”

“Olivia is very understanding of his schedule and they make sure to have FaceTime dates when he is away,” the source continued. “They both enjoy keeping their relationship more private. Jacob likes keeping his work separate and you will most likely not see them together in a public forum.”

Giannulli and Elordi were first romantically linked in December 2021, shortly after he ended his relationship with Kaia Gerber. Neither Giannulli nor Elordi have spoken about their relationship publicly.

Elordi was asked to open up about his love life during a GQ interview published in November. He declined to answer any questions, cheekily saying, “but I appreciate you giving me the space.”
