Everything We Know About Echo Season 2 So Far

Disney+ is delivering, offering fans a second season of their hit show Echo. 2021’s Hawkeye introduced anti-hero Maya Lopez, played by the dynamic Alaqua Cox. Otherwise known as Echo, her super power is her ability to perfectly copy other people’s movements, which makes her an adversary that literally knows your every move. Echo worked for cross-world villain Kingpin, as played by Vincent D’Onofrio.

Here’s what we know about season two of the redemption arc series. Spoilers ahead.

Is there going to be a season two of Echo?

Thus far, season two remains unconfirmed, but there are a number of other series where Maya Lopez could potentially make an appearance, like the upcoming Daredevil series or another season of Hawkeye. That means things look good for the continuation of her character at the very least.

What will season two of Echo be about?

The story of the first season picks up right where Hawkeye ended. Echo looks up to Kingpin as a surrogate father, partly because her actual father was killed by Hawkeye’s sinister alter ego, Ronin. As Ronin, he killed a number of gang members under contract, including Echo’s biological dad. The twist? It was Kingpin who took out the contract on Echo’s father. She shoots him in retaliation and starts planning her takeover of his operation.

All this happens in only five episodes, which means a second season could be another fast-paced, action-packed drama.

Who is cast in Echo season 2?

Cox will undoubtedly return as the series’ star, and D’Onofrio will most likely be back as her nemesis. Charlie Cox may also make another appearance as Matt Murdock, also called Daredevil.

There will probably be appearances from main cast Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, and Devery Jacobs as well.
