When to Catch New Episodes of Netflix’s The Trust
Netflix is following up Squid Game: The Challenge with another competition series, The Trust: A Game of Greed. In this show, 11 contestants who are complete strangers have the opportunity to split a $250,000 cash prize.
As Tudum describes it, “This isn’t your typical reality competition series. Instead of fighting each week to get one step closer to the reward, the contestants are offered the winnings right from the start. What comes next, and how they choose to distribute the money amongst themselves, is where the game gets interesting—or better yet, downright dirty. Because in this social experiment, the players’ fates are in their own hands: No one has to win or lose.”
The contestants are from different walks of life, including a police officer, a rancher, a grandmother, and more. Players don’t need to be eliminated, but the group will have the choice to vote one another out for the chance of winning even more money. With fewer players around, the remaining contestants can win an even bigger prize—that’s where trust, literally, comes in to play. Even one single vote can throw a player out of the competition, so the stakes are extremely high. Former CNN journalist Brooke Baldwin hosts.
Here’s how to follow along as the drama unfolds.
