Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Matched in Black for Ralph Lauren’s Show, Their First Event as Newlyweds

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck attended their first fashion show and industry event together since getting married this summer. The couple stepped out for Ralph Lauren’s spring/summer 2023 show at The Huntington Library in San Marino, CA. The couple matched in black, with Lopez wearing a pinstriped dress and hat. The event was particularly significant to the couple, as they wore Ralph Lauren for their Georgia wedding in August.

Affleck was affectionate in photos with Lopez, holding her hand or wrapping an arm around her.

Lopez spoke to reporters about how the couple were so excited to see the show, especially given Ralph Lauren’s special history with their nuptials.

Ralph Lauren created three wedding dresses for Lopez. “The dresses were dreamy… thank you Ralph Lauren ????,” she wrote, unveiling photos of them in her On the JLo newsletter. “I will be sharing a few more pics and delicious details on our big day coming very soon On The JLo…”

Lopez eventually wrote much more about her wedding, including the moment Affleck saw her walking down to the aisle more than 20 years after they were first supposed to get married at the same Georgia house. “When he saw me appear at the top of the stairs that moment it both made absolute sense while seeming still impossibly hard to believe, like the best dream, where all you want is never to awaken,” she recalled. “I would have had many of the same thoughts probably had I not been focusing so hard on not tripping over my dress, but when I got close enough to see his face, it made the same wonderful sense to me. Some old wounds were healed that day and the weight of the past finally lifted off our shoulders. Full-circle—and not at all the way we planned it. Better.”
