Timothée Chalamet Clarifies Where He and Kylie Jenner Stand With Selena Gomez After Golden Globes Rumors

Timothée Chalamet put the Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez drama rumors to bed. The Wonka actor addressed the Golden Globes fan theory while out in Beverly Hills last night when a TMZ photographer followed him and asked him multiple times about it.

The pap asked Chalamet point-blank about the internet’s speculation that his girlfriend, Jenner, blocked Gomez, his former A Rainy Day in New York co-star, from getting a photo with him at the Globes. He ignored the line of questioning initially, then chose to clear the air on the drama.

He was asked if he and Gomez were “cool,” and he replied, “Yeah, of course.” When asked if Jenner and Gomez had any “beef,” he also said “no,” adding that overall, “we’re all good.” And there it is, straight from Chalamet’s mouth.

A source close to Gomez also shut down the drama rumors yesterday to People. “She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie,” the source said of what Gomez, Swift, and Keleigh Sperry were discussing. The insider added that Gomez “never even saw or spoke to them [Jenner and Chalamet]” at the Globes.

Jenner and Gomez previously shut down fan speculation that they had drama in February 2023. Some TikTokers had theorized at the time that Jenner was making fun of Gomez’s eyebrows with Hailey Bieber, who’s married to Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, on Instagram.

Jenner commented on TikTok, “This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”

Gomez replied to Jenner’s comment, echoing the sentiment. Gomez wrote, “Agreed @kyliejenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”
