Kylie Jenner Appears to Tell Timothée Chalamet ‘I Love You’ at the Golden Globes

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet acted like the world wasn’t watching them during their public date night at the Golden Globes. Not only did they kiss while a camera was on them during an ad break, but the couple appeared to exchange some very sweet words as well. E! reported that Jenner was seen seemingly telling Chalamet “I love you,” while they were being filmed.

There was no audio with the Jenner and Chalamet video, but numerous fans on social media theorized from their lip readings that she did. While lip reading in and of itself is subjective and theoretical, there was still pretty inarguable proof at the Globes that Jenner and Chalamet’s relationship is solid. They did kiss during a televised award ceremony, after all, in a room full of celebrities. It was also their award-show debut.

Page Six got forensic lipreader Jeremy Freeman to analyze their discussion. He speculated that Jenner said she loved Chalamet, too. Freeman speculated the conversation went like this: Chalamet told Jenner, “You’re amazing.” She complimented his jewelry, and he said he loved it, too. She then told him, “I love you,” and he replied, “I really care about you.” Jenner then teased, “I don’t care about you. I really love someone else.” The conversation, per Freeman, was a lot of teasing between the couple.

Jenner and Chalamet did not pose on the red carpet together, nor did they post on their social media about their date night. They have shown PDA at other public events before, including the September Beyoncé Renaissance concert where they made their debut as a couple and the US Open that same month.

Jenner and Chalamet were first rumored to be dating last spring. A source told People on December 4 that they are officially boyfriend-girlfriend now. “He is very supportive of her career and she of his,” the source said. “They both try to attend important events for each other.”

“He is very good for Kylie,” the insider added. “Since dating him, she seems very content, relaxed and focused. Her family loves him.”
